I can’t stop thinking about you and how close it all came to ending. How the look in your eyes told me you didn’t want it to either. As hard as it was for me to be logical, my subconscious told me, “Wait for him. It will be worth it.” It has been a little over a week and you’ve shown me how much you care- from asking me to cuddle with you, telling me how much you miss me, to giving me lovey eyes… it’s the little things that make a world of difference for me. The way your lips try to stay shut when you are holding back a huge grin, the way you walk up behind me and wrap your big manly arms completely around me. It feels so right… and once again I feel relieved and at home with you.

Your smile melts my heart. Your hands fit mine within them so perfectly. And when you reach over during a romantic song and grab my hand, I melt forever into you.
